Casas de Núñez: Guest Bedroom Remodel

Since fall of 2020, we’ve been hard at work remodeling our 100-year-old property in St. Petersburg, FL, Casas de Núñez. About a year later, we can finally say that the bedrooms in the home are finished! In this post, we’re excited to reveal the outcome of our guest bedroom remodel. BEFORE

Believe it or not, this room was in the best condition out of all the rooms in the home when we bought it. But it still needed a good bit of love. For this space, we refinished and stained the hardwood floors, painted, re-dry-walled the ceiling, and replaced the fan and blinds.

Mood Board

For the style of this room, we wanted to create an environment for our guests that could feel both calming and inspiring, with clean white walls and pops of color. The dominant green tones were inspired by the Clay Imports Penacho Tortuga floor tile that we used in our guest bathroom remodel.
