Taking time off to pursue our creative passions – what's this mean for Chez Núñez?
Hey there! It’s true.
In 2023, we’ll be taking some time away from Chez Núñez to focus all our energy on the creative work we both feel deeply called to pursue.
Anna will be growing her career as a fine artist, while Jesús will be working on his career as a musician.
We’re both excited about this change, but realize it might raise some questions from anyone who cares about Chez Núñez or us as humans.
If you’re wondering why we’re stepping back from Chez Núñez, what this means or looks like for the brand, and how you can keep up with us moving forward, we made a video for you.

We get it.
The long story short is that we're pivoting energy from Chez Núñez and toward our work as an artist (Anna) and musician (Jesús) in 2023.
As we've spent years building this brand to help and encourage creatives to pursue their life's deepest callings, we've realized that we weren't prioritizing ours.
This year presented us with lessons and reflections that have led to a “now or never” moment.
As we focus on art and music with our whole hearts in the coming year, we know we won't have the energy available to serve the Chez Núñez community at the same time.
That being said, we care about you and this brand we've built, and we don't want to leave you hanging!
Here's what this means for Chez Núñez:
Chez Núñez is NOT being shut down or taken offline.
Our shop, blog posts, freebies, education, Youtube, etc. will STILL be available for you to access in the future.
We made these things for you, and we hope they will continue to speak to you while we're off working on other creative projects.
What will come to an end is the creation of anything new for Chez Núñez, including our blog posts and monthly newsletters.

I have a studio sale launching next week; new original paintings and prints are in the works as well.

Jesús will be writing, recording, and producing his music! (I know I'm biased, but he's ridiculously talented and his work is objectively great).

We'll still be around next year (again, Chez Núñez is not going away); we'll just be focusing the bulk of our time and energy on art and music instead, and we're so excited to share what comes from this pivot.
Last thing – if there's a dream stirring in your heart right now (one that you've let sit on the sidelines for a little too long), we hope to encourage you to brush it off, hold it close, and take it seriously today.
Life is not a trial run, time is of the essence, and there's nothing you can't figure out.
You are worthy and capable of incredible things – and we believe in you.
